Frank Inaba was born in Wapato, WA. in 1917. Graduated from Wapato HS in 1936. Enlisted in
US Army in 1942 and married Fumiko Okimoto in 1943. Served from 1942-1945 with I Company of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Individual and unit medals/citations included 2 purple hearts, 3 overseas service bars, 1 service stripe, Distinguished Unit badge, Good Conduct Medal, US Army Presidential Unit Citation, WWII Victory Medal Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, and European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 4 bronze battle stars.
After World War II Frank and Fumi settled in Moses Lake, WA. Here Frank became a successful
farmer and he and Fumi raised daughters Karen Inaba Holubar and Janet Inaba Ottosen.
