George was born in 1921 in Seattle and was in E Company of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. He was killed in action on July 4, 1944 during the Rome-Arno Campaign. He is buried at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery in Seattle.
He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, WW II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal.
